From the Artist
This sketch is a study of the play of light on water. I really enjoyed the brightness and feel of the work, the reflections in the sand and the atmospherics of the sky. I want the viewer to feel like they are in the moment and I think this was a success. I can hear the waves and the call of gulls. The coolness of the wet sand between my toes and the gentle breeze against my face!
